April 15th - 17th 2009 - “Prowinter” Bolzano Fair

Peter Fill joins the group

During the “end of season” classical trade show in south Tyrol, focused on ski schools, rental stores, lift companies and touristic operators, SKIMAGIC officially introduced itelf to the technical world of skiing, beating initial distrusts and gaining positive notes. Ski teachers, trainers and athletes on any age skied on the endless slope and, among them, Peter Fill, silver SuperG medal at last World Champs in Val d’Isére.

The southtyrolian followed easily the instructor’s advices (Nico Milanese, SKIMAGIC pro) and in a short while started to demonstrate good skills as everybody expected from him. He understood completely the technical value of the slope, a hi-precision tool that asks the skier to be perfect with his movements, to be highly sensitive on his edges, to distribute loads with precise timing. “Don’t forget the physical aspect – said Fill – after few minutes running your legs burn and you have to rest. It’s a good traing for the summer season.” A lot of young skiers form local clubs crowded SKIMAGIC during the fair, some of them very promising skiers already on top of their national ranks. No problems at all for them in tuning with the slope and, as usual, a huge fun.

For the 2nd following year Tecnica Group, with its brands Tecnica and Blizzard, is “technical partner” of SKIMAGIC, supplying skis and boots. Helmets by Alpina, poles and gloves by Leki.
